went to a chinese restaurant for dinner today(:
its called "yong chun quan" if im not wrong.  we went there for quite a few times. the foods are nice. nodnod(: halfway through the dinner, a singaporean celeb with his wife & family came and sat at the table right next to ours. my youngest cousin couldnt stop staring at him. LOL. kinda cute lah. i hafta admit(: we saw caucasians too. i think they're brave, stepping into a chinese restaurant & all that. oh and the loo(at the third floor) is the best. eh. well, not exactly. but its certainly special. its an outdoor toliet kinda thing. you can actually see the chiefs & waiters go in and out of the kitchen's back door when you're washing your hands. very unique(: & i simply love the designs of the toliet's door. its like those kinda secret door you'll accidentially stumble across when you're exploring the castle :DD THUMBS UP!!! hees.   then yes. there's the dishes(: in a traditional chinese dinner, a cold plate will be the first to be served. but in this case, the longevity buns can be served first before the cold plate. see how small & kawaii the bun is? ahhh! xD the cold plate here consist of the jellyfish, prawns salad, meat wraps (i have no idea how to call it), egg shreds & clam (i think its called clam). heehs(: why is it called the cold plate? hmm. this, i have no idea. here's the sharkfin soup :DD ONE OF MY FAV!!! sigh. i know i know. eating sharks' fins aint right. butbut im sorry. i just cant stand not eating them. sorry sharkies. sigh. & its nice!!! ahhhhhhhh! the fins are long but very fine, just like the noodles. nodnod :DD omg. i fainted when i see the waitress serving as the fins. ahhh. ITS FAB! & i have to apologise to all the natural huggers outta & the sharks. im sorry!!! next is the roasted pig. wooo~ its the normal thing to order a roasted pig or a roast duck whenever you visit a chinese restaurant. nodnod. see how they torture the roasted guy. tsktsk.   then blahblahblah. all the normal foods. finally its the abalone. claps xDD i LOVE abalones!!! hees(: they are nice~ right here they're sliced for convenience. nodnodnod. oh and the desert is nice. the yellow orangie thingy is the mangoes. the desert is really sweeeeet :D |
